Black Fabric Necklace with Resin Plastic Pendant

Wow, where did the year go? I feel as though I say that often. Time really does seem to fly by, even more reason to savor each second.

Faces make me wonder. I think eyes get a lot of attention but for me it's the face in its entirety that really makes me think about the story, stories, goals, dreams, wishes.

Here's a fabric necklace I made using the face as the focal. One day I will do a series on faces and masks. It's not the time yet but I think it will be time in the near future...perhaps 2012.

Mixed Media

So I have said that I will be making more fabric beads and mixed media jewelry. I relisted a mixed media piece the other day; it's inspired by Peace. With so much going on in the world, I think it's a good time to remind myself how much I want to live in a world of peace. Whether it's as I walk down my street or as I sit on my couch. Peace, what a beautiful word and even more beautiful action.
